i have a samsung un32f5050 1080p (same as un32f5000) that i got new/open box off ebay for like 265 shipped. its one with a samsung panel, and lemme tell ya dude i came from an acer 1920x1200 24" and i am shocked at how much more i love it. and i loved that acer. well worth the resolution hit for the enormous size difference...it really will change your gaming life lol.
The Sharp Aquos Quatron with its extra color RGB-Y, is one of the best looking displays in that cost category I've seen. Depending on where you buy, you should be able to come in for ~$400. I have the 46" in my living room for general TV viewing. Everyone that first sees it is amazed.

this is the listing i bought mine from. FYI if you offer them 5% less than the asking price, they will accept it. saves you like 13 bucks.

i dont find this true at all. no ghosting or blurring when im playing games and no noticeable input lag increase coming from my acer that had 2 or 4ms i cant remember which.

and if i understand correctly, when the HDMI input used from pc to tv is renamed "PC"...it turns off all processing by the TV, which supposedly greatly reduces input lag. i havent tried it without doing this, so i cant really say if it is noticeable with input not renamed.
