I wouldnt touch the vapor x not now anyways alot of people are complaining they are voltage locked.Best card for overclocking that ive seen in which ive owned quite alot of 7950's are the his ice-q 7950 followed by sapphire dual x.To whoever commented about having to buy a more expensive 7950 for it to overclock good is just flatout wrong.$289 for a his iceq when i bought mine and got it to 1175 mhz without touching voltage.oh and ya rag on xfx akk you want my reference 7970 xfx ive had close to a year 1200 mhz with no issues. All the brands are good really the one that i tend to not buy are the power color no reason really other then they seem to have alot of dead cards.

Yup, Vapor X are voltage locked which limits overclocks. I might be mistaken but I think that boost versions are also somewhat limited as well. I second Mikeem's suggestion of the Iceq HIS. The gigabyte one is good as well for temps. Good Luck.

Some are unlocked some arent its luck of the draw.If the voltage is locked on one bios it will be on the other to.The only difference is one is a boost bios and the other is stock.Ive owned one and the one i got was locked on both bios
