Best aftermarket gtx 770?

Their are sooo many options, and brands to choose from..

I was originally going to buy MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming Edition OC 4GB but my friends say that 4gb is an overkill.. please tell me what brand you think is the best

I don't think it is overkill. You might regret buying the 2GB card in the future. Take BF4 for example, it requires a minimum of 3GB VRAM for optimal settings. If you ever upgrade your monitor to a higher resolution or decide to go multi-monitor you will need that extra 2GB. It is better to have more than not enough when it comes to PC specs. Also, if you ever want to go SLI and a 4GB card is on sale, the 2GB card will limit the whole setup to 2GB. Plan ahead. Get the MSI.

First of all, what is your monitors resolution? You only need more than the stock 2GB of VRam if you are playing on resolutions above 1080P.

As far as which one you should pick, almost all the non-reference design 770's will perform better than the reference design 770 by a little bit (5% at most).

The only real difference there will be between non-reference design cards is heat, noise and power usage. After looking at some reviews I have come to the conclusion that Gigabyte's Windforce GTX 770 OC and EVGA's GTX 770 With ACX Cooler are the best in terms of cooling performance and noise.
