Best Air CPU Cooler for Overclocking a 4670K?

Building my first gaming pc in the next 3 weeks. And wanted to know what the best air cooler is for Overclocking a 4670k? Also what should I OC to? I was thinking 4GHz-4.5GHz. Thanks in advance

What case are you using? What gpu? How many fans in the case.

Generally speaking most any tower type cooler will work, but it's also good to examine other heat sources and airflow issues within your case. Hyper 212 EVO and Xigmatek GAIA are excellent coolers and are priced well. Noctua is also very good, but IMO not worth the price.

Should you overclock?
If you're not overclock, why bother to replace your stock cooling system?

Haswell is a hot processor..
and Hyper 212 evo is a good cooling, but i believe it cannot handle heat from haswell processor with very well

So you have to go with best air cooling if you planned to overclock it..

Phanteks ph-tc14pe or Noctua ND 14 is the best air cooling available right now..

Case is going to be a Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 (White). GPU is going to be a HD7970 GHz Edition, GTX 770, or GTX 780. Still haven't decided. And I'm just going to use the stock fans that come with the case.

The EVO or Hyper 212 will be plenty. Just be sure to keep good cable management and more intake than exhaust on your fans.

I own the Noctua and 2 of the Phanteks and the Phanteks is the best Air Cooler out on the market.
