Anyone have any comments on the best all around computer to buy in the $3,000 to $3,500 range. I want to do do video editing, some gameing and and run some business apps.

Hi, heres what I'm looking at now but I might wait for the dual AMD boards and go for dual 1.2Ghz and if mem prices come down I may consider 512megs DDR.

sys brd Asus A7M266
cpu 1.2g AMD
mem256 DDR 266mhz
hd45G ibmWD strip
hd45G ibmWD strip
Sound Card Xgramer
cd writer plexstor 12X
DVD drive ??? --
I'm considering one of those new all in one DVD and burners. I like less clutter and one less thing producing heat and using power.
Raid Fastrac ultra 100
VIEWSONIC 19" E790 .22hdp 1600x1200 76Hz
Speakers????
RT2000 Comes with the Matrox G450-- not great for games.

Good luck

Take Care.
