I am looking for a good r9 390 for a gaming PC. I have been saving up for a while, and I want to buy the best bang for the buck 390. So far I am looking at the sapphire Nitro, the Asus Strix, and the MSI twin frozer. I am also looking for a red theme for my build. If there are other cards that are better around that price please let me know.

Solution
The MSI version is by far the best. Comes with a nice backplate and has the best overclocking potential with many people reaching 1180. Which is insane. I personally own the sapphire version and it operates okay but I would have much prefered the msi version, however when I bought it it was out of stock on amazon, so I opted for the sapphire version instead.

The msi version will match your build perfectly. As it's red and black.

I would say the MSI Twin Frozr variant is hands-down the best version of the card. You can get it for $330 on Amazon. The MSI cooler is great at keeping the GPU cool, usually under 80 degrees Celsius, and it's also very quiet. Many reviewers also say that the MSI card can be overclocked a considerable amount, much better than AMD's 200-series and other variants of the 390. It has a backplate and even fits with the red theme that you're going for in your build. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a three-slot card, so make sure you have space for it. I actually have an MSI GTX 970 in my system, and I can tell you that everything about it is great. Hope this helps!
