Hey Guys -
Even though a full sized case, my system is packed full of hardware which includes all the normal stuff plus x10 standard drives, x2 SSDs, and a GTX 970 video card. When one of the 3 120mm fans I have went out (got noisy) last night, I decided to post to see what everyone suggested be the best and most quiet solution to cool it before simply replacing it.
Below is a picture of my system showing the x3 120mm fans I have in it now plus the direction each flows. There's one 120mm in the upper rear (which went out) blowing inward, one at the top towards the rear pulling out, and one in the lower front pulling in.
The top and rear ones are plugged into the MB therefore controlled while the front lower one is plugged directly into molex. All drives are mounted towards the front as you can see somewhat. Their current temperatures range between 89 - 98.6 degrees F.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
