So I was wondering what would be the best 3d animation software?

I know about flash, and I think you can animate in after effects, but that is all I know.

So if you know about 3d animation software and witch is the best compared to the others, please tell me and tell me the out right, and or monthly/yearly price of them.

Thank you to anyone who answers.

3D animation? I personally do all of my 3D rendering, modeling, and animation in Blender - an open source 3D modeling program.

You might have heard of this short movie - it was done by the Blender Foundation strictly in their own program:

Is it the best? Probably not, but 99% of people are going to be more limited by themselves rather than the program itself. I haven't run into a single thing it can't do yet - physics calculation and baking including smoke, fluid, and a whole pile of other stuff, the internal Cycles engine does an unmatched job at raytracing, and you can do post-processing and compositing right there in the same window.

Be ready for a massive learning curve...

Be ready for a massive learning curve. This is something that's going to take a lot of work before you'll be getting any worthwhile results, as with anything. It's open-source, and a good place to get started if nothing else.

3DS Max and Maya are two other 3D rendering/modeling/animation suites that are quite popular, but you'll be looking at either $185 monthly or $3600 for either of them.

I have used blender for a few things before, and I knew it had a lot of stuff it could do. I will for sure look into it. I am going to keep looking to see what other people say, the other 2 you suggested are to much, so they are out for me. Thank you for your input.
