Question Best app to create an ISO of a CD ?

Hi all, what is the best app to create an ISO file from a disc ?

There are lots that are capable, but the question would come back to the source file being protected or copyrighted, etc.

Some other tools and OS or such things are easily available in other formats.

What are you looking to convert? Why is probably not my business, per se, but could be important in whether we can actually assist or not.

If you somehow is a Linux user, then just use dd command - as explained here

You should add that on the download page of windows 10 you can choose make the tool for a different PC, something like that, which will give you the option to download an iso.

What VM software are you using?
You can use tricks to boot into usb inside a VM so you can just use a normal windows 10 usb.
Basically boot from plop boot manager floppy image which will boot into usb.

As others said, 'best' can vary by requirement.
I've been using CDBurnerXP for a long time. It's small (6MB), free and does everything I need, although there isn't much need for it these days.

I didn't know win10 has this ability.

Windows doesn't have that ability, they may be confused that Windows can mount them now.

In any case, I'll throw in ImgBurn in the lot.
