Never had problem with epox boards, I mean "noooooone" (can't say it about Asus or Abit🙁

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

It appears as if the audio jacks are miscolored,i have tried several combinations i went to realtek and downloaded
there latest drivers and now i have some sound at full blast with a set of 4 in 1 creative speakers i can barely hear anything,so i tried my headphones and u can hear very little audio mostly hissing.
On my IS-10 the orange and black audio jacks are switched. Go into the Control Panel, double click the Sound Effect Manager icon, click the Speaker Configuration Tab and click the appropriate No. of Speakers. Then click the Speaker Test tab and see if all the sound is coming out of the proper channels.

As far as your headphones are concerned, click the Equalizer tab and turn off the equalizer. Make sure the Wave volume is turned up all the way.
