Hello, so I've bought an AOC M2470SWDA2 but got really disappointed, the site where i bought it from didn't display the full specs of the monitor so they only said it was 4 ms response time but they didn't say that i was 4 ms GTG.So yeah... I'm trying to get another monitor for about the same amount of money which is 130 euros/140 dollars but can't seem to find the one that fits me.I'm looking for something that has a 22"+ inch display, low response time so i don't get that huge amount of ghosting i got on the GTG one and that has decent colors.I found and Acer G236HLBbd and found out that many people think about it as a great monitor and others say that it's completely trash because it has no tilt or the colors suck.

I'd like to get some opinions about the Acer monitor or if you guys know something else at that price or even cheaper that might satisfy my needs please help me.I don't need 144hz monitors that are worth alot because you know... being a student and having only the scholarship I doubt it that i'll be able to get an expensive one.

Do you still want a TN? A VA is going to blow your socks of, when compared to IPS and TN, they've come really far, trust me, I've used most all monitors. The problem however, is that they still don't have perfect viewing angles. The response time is lower on VA than IPS, not sure where people get otherwise information from, but I digress. In your budget, you can't afford a monitor that is going to get rid of ghosting, you will notice it regardless which panel type you choose, but my recommendation is VA.

Slightly above budget, but will be worth it. My low end VA; beats the highest end IPS. While I...

I'd like TN panel since IPS and MVA kinda suck when it comes to fast motion and im only gonna use it for games and internet stuff. not gonna do any photoshop or smth else

uhm... ok? well my last monitor had 4 ms GTG and bad colors, don't really know if that's the reason for ghosting. I'm asuming you can't get rid of the ghosting effect 100% no matter what monitor you get. So what I'm asking if there is any monitor i can buy for that amount of money, that won't have a major ghosting effect like my old one had and that has some decent colors?

While I understand that an argument could be made regarding colors, I've worked professionally on a TN, with accurate results, I guess people forgot that you have the tools to correct colors in all professional video and photo editors, but again, I digress...

All the best!
