I recently got some money than I was expecting from a sale, Instead of a measly $850, I sold a bunch of more stuff and got nearly $1800, Actually exactly 1772.xx. So I'm just going to round that up 1800. What's the absolute best I can get for that amount of money?

Games will be, Mmorpgs, Mmo's, RTS's. Like Diablo 3, Fallout 3, Guild Wars 2, Mirrors Edge, some FPS games, Crysis, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3, Any free mmorpg, The new Final Fantasy MMORPG when it comes out next month, Any of the command and conquer series. The most current C&C series, Red Alert 3, Tiberium Twilight, and the new one coming out this fall, C&C 2013 or Generals 2.

I need a lot of hard drive space 2.5 TB or more, I want a dedicated sound card, I'm not a fan of motherboard audio, I have 3 old hard drives going back into the computer, 2 of them are in my current computer I am using now, and one old drive that I have to find.

I would like to run past games on ultra high, and current games on high, No SLI, I don't think I would like it. Preferably a case with lots of cooling, I live out in TN, and it gets hot out here.

Please keep in mind I am a complete noob when it comes to anything on computers. Please be gentle :).

Oh, And superior wireless card than my USB Asus N53.

Yes the OS takes around 20 gb leaving you with 100 gb of extra space. Average games are 10-20 gb so you'll be able to install 4-6 games you can later uninstall them and put them on the nromal hdd. Just put the ones you are going to play the most on your SSD for faster speeds
If I have to learn overclocking to get the most out of my new rig I'll try to do so, I am new to computers. But sackboy has posted a video about overclocking with the build he recommended.

What's so bad about the 8350 on an $1800?It has great performance for gaming (yes i5 beats it but not enough to compensate for the cost) and is great for multithreaded applications. Future games will be more core demanding, how so? As PS4 and XBox One have an 8 core cpu, weak one though, developers will take advantage of the multi cores so I believe 8350 will be a little bit more future proof

If you want the best performance out of a cpu it's highly recommended to overclock. The FX 8350 is such a great processor to overclock and the video I linked you to covers everything you need to know about overclocking the 8350 and overclocking in general. It's also a great guide as it uses the exact same motherboard,Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z, and will make the whole process a lot easier.

Why would you spend that much money on a processor that's not able to overclock?Doesn't make sense. IT IS NOT CRAP.Where do you get these assumptions?Let me guess you're an intel fanboy? If I were to go with an intel build I would go with the i5 4670k. BTW the OP wants the build for gaming so he shouldn't even get an i7 to begin with.

Future proof, how? Anyways, Haswell will later also have octo- cores  I don't see what you need for that many cores anyways.

That should be better. You DON'T need 16GB of RAM for gaming and the like, octo- core is overrated, and the 780 can handle Crysis 3 on Ultra. i5 4670k > FX 8350. If you're so SET on getting an AMD chip, at least wait for Steamroller. Don't worry about the cooler being cheap and tacky, it's actually one of the best coolers out there, for the price. You don't need 1866MHz RAM as the performance is identical to 1600MHz RAM...AND I got you a dedicated sound card :)

+1. With the Newegg combo, there's no excuse for a weaker CPU on the basis of something that will not benefit OP's intended use. I stand by my suggested build.
