Best cable for lowest response time?

I've searched forever and can't seem to get the best answer. I have a 1MS response time native 240HZ monitor. Supports DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. My question is, what cable is best for the quickest response time? Does cable length affect the response time?

I would suggest a good quality, well insulated, dual link high speed DVI cable. I wondered exactly the same thing when i purchased my 1ms 144Hz monitor. From the research i did, people recommended using the DVI connections, with the forementioned type of cable. Startech is a good one. Cables dont need to be expensive to be good.
I am not an expert in PC graphics, so someone else would probably be able to give you a more in-depth technical view.
