I thought the CoolerMaster Elite 120 / 130 was IMHO the best ITX Case especially for the money, super small size but with the healthy amount of stuff you can shove in there.

Wow! No Phanteks Enthoo Pro? This is one of the most popular cases out there and one hell of a steal at only $99 US dollars! Seriously, look at all the positive reviews out there on this case. How can this case NOT be listed amongst the best cases?

With widescreen monitors basically standard at this point, perhaps update your widgets to support this? The Best Pics grid is stuck at about half of the available 1920 px...

why not horizontal mount cases? why all vertical?

my next case will be horisontal just for the extra room i get when it's not mounted vertically, plus it stresses the motherboards less than vertical so you can put in the big coolers without as much fear.

they easily have my love, able to fit decent sized motherboards while still being smaller (in this case it fits under my desk better) and still able to fit all my hdd needs, ALONG with having some fantastic cable management options because everything doesn't need to be stuffed behind a very thin panel, on top of even the smallest one i can find allows me to install the most massive air coolers i can find.

Word. It looks simply yet great, is affordable and unlike most other ITX cases, isn't oversized. I use it for my NAS and am thinking of converting my gaming build with an Asus GTX 970 Mini to it, though not sure if cooling will be sufficient.

Just replaced my 750D with an Enthoo Evolve ATX. Hands down the highest quality case I've ever handled.

I'd love to get my hands on something from CaseLabs...everything points to them being the best case manufacturer available.

No mATX???? Am I one of the few remaining people who think that form factor is the perfect compromise of expansion and modular builds and modern day compactness and portability? They really really need to make a true successor to the Temjin TJ08-e, or at least some alternatives at a similar size.

Please add a category for quiet cases. Which chases do the best job of blocking the noise generated inside of the case?

Most people value the utilitarian aspects of a case more than the aesthetics.

I personally dont care about things like that. To me its all about build quality, cable management, airflow, and features (front panel, expansion slots, etc). Most people wear headphones/use speakers, so sound dampening shouldnt be that large of a factor.

I was surprised there weren't more nasty comments about this article here! Well done TH community!! This type of article usually has a ton a whiners complaining about how their choice is the best and all others suck a bag of, well you get the idea.

there is also the factor that a constant noise can be drowned out, case in point, i have fairly loud permanent ringing in my ears, however, unless i purposefully try to hear it it just kind of fades into the background.

for my computer, i have some fairly loud fans, 1 120mm 35db case fan, my gpu can easily drown that out thanks to a fairly steep curve where it go 100% at somewhere between 70 and 80c, and my cpu fan can easily be louder then both, in fact right now i would say i am hearing my cpu fan cpu fan over everything else.

for my money, i would rather have everything have a stable noise level than anything else.

I'm using a CM Storm Trooper and a HAF 912 and have no complaints with either. The 912 was a great for the price and drive bays and fans, cm and the Storm Trooper is like a castle with a handle. Probably the best I can recommend if you need to build a beast.
