Hello.

I wanted to know the best speaker for $30 and below.
My current ones have actually served me very well the last few years, and they were bought for like $14 at Staples or something.

Figured if I had such good quality from $14 speakers, then modern speakers for $30 or below would sound even better for that price.

Thanks!

I think they may be $40, not sure on US pricing - could be less.

I had a pair of Creative Inspire T10 speakers for about 4 years. Big sound, reasonable quality (treble is a little flat, but easily corrected) and they punch far above their weight. I still use T40's for my laptop (my desktop uses a NAD amp / Mission hi-fi speakers), they impressed me that much I kept with the series.

Those are the exact ones that inspired this thread.
Thanks!

EDIT: Do they need a HDMI cable to work? Or is it a plug that plugs into an outlet or what? Only asking because on Amazon it recommend sbuying the HDMI cable too.

If you were interested in headphones, look at sennheiser. I think they have an entry level set Caltex the hd 201, which is an every level studio quality set, can be found for 20-30, comfortable and my wife does not gripe lol. Used to have a set with a sub and rattle the floor, but had to get headphones, that helps keep peace.
