I know nothing about building pcs just want to know the best pc ur able to come up with for 500 or under I want to get into pcs but I need to know good builds
Someone told me that there's much point in having an 8 core CPU in an all gaming rig is that true and if it is couldn't I cut the CPU and invest the money in a better graphics card if that's stupid I'm sorry I don't really know what I'm talking about

It's true. But the 8320 is an amazing CPU for the money. If you want to drop down then you could get a fx-6300 but that is only $10 less. And the difference is big between them. So, don't think about all the unnecessary cores think about that it will outperform all CPUs around this price.
Ok thank u I also have an expensive build for if I really stretch for my money the price range is 1000-1100 os, keyboard mouse etc included in pricing http://pcpartpicker.com/user/thebestbutton/saved/3gBK . Any recommendations? Also I want to use my tv as a monitor so I don't think I need one. I am selling my ps4 and ps3 to sum about 800 if I get the mid range the left over will be used for games if expensive I will save up ur opinion is appreciated and thanks for the help
You would need a soundcard if it was 2008. You don't need one for this. What monitor do you have now? If it's a fast 1080p monitor then you are ready to max out games.
I don't have monitor I want to use my tv also is the the difference between this build and the mid range u recommended earlier large enough to spring for this one sorry to bug u but I'm new to this and I'm not excactly used to blowing a 1000 dollars for video games

Funny thing is when I built mine I planned on $900. Since then it has ballooned and I blame it on games..namely BF. Anyways, gaming on a TV isn't very good. A $130 Asus monitor is what you need.
And yes there is a big difference between the $500 and $991 builds. You'll get way better graphic detail with the $991 build. Also, everything else will be fast as hell.
Ok so definitely expensive build but the amd build we worked on or that new intel one also for either is there a way to squeeze in a monitor I'm not sure about price range I guess a max of 1300 if I absolutely can't squeeze lower than that
Also just to throw me a bone can this thing make crisis 3 and bioshock infinite my bitch and handle witcher 3 dark souls 2 and titanfall next year with no problems

Well at first I wanted to find out if the 500 would be good enough but I think if go expensive now I will be done for a while and 1300 IS A DEAD MAX consider that blue ray drive gone I also thought my tv would substitute as a monitor which I guess I was wrong about also the 500 was no os or monitor and sorry about this I'm very thankful for all the help
