Best (Cheapest too) Display/Monitor thats 2560 x 1440 at 144/120Hz

Solution
If 250 is what you have for a monitor, you may want to consider the 1080 instead of the 1080ti. The 1080 will be very good for 1440p. The only way you can go cheaper at 1440p is to get a 60hz/75hz panel. At that refresh rate, your monitor will be the bottleneck to the 1080ti.

I agree with King V, spending money on a monitor is not like other computer parts. A good monitor will last you a decade, unlike your computer.
The best and the cheapest don't collide. It really depends on what features you want. If 1440p and 144hz is the minimum specs, then the cheapest wont have IPS panel or gsync. If you have an AMD GPU, then you have no need for gsync. IPS has better image quality and viewing angles than TN, but TN panels are cheaper and have a faster response time. Size also plays into it as typically a 24" will be cheaper than 27", but not always.

Here is a good price for a 27/1440p with TN and free sync.

This is one of the cheaper 1440p monitors that has gsync.

This one checks all the boxes as it is 27/1440p/IPS/Gsync. But it is expensive.

Given that you have a top of the line video card, you might want to wait on your monitor upgrade until you have a significantly bigger budget.

EDIT: I'd also throw in that, assuming gaming is your primary concern, an ultra-wide monitor would give an excellent experience, but ultra-wide monitors also tend to be expensive.

These are the cheapest two on pcpartpicker. The prices may change on your location. The Acer is the one I recommended the beginning. The Acer is on sale, that is why it is on the list. The same monitor may not be on sale in your location. So the AOC may be a cheaper option.

Not even close - plus, consider how long monitors last. You'd likely carry a new monitor over to your next PC or possibly next two PCs.

For example - my previous monitor I used from late 2011 to 2017.

What's your current monitor?

Just a suggestion, but it would be worth dropping down to a gtx 1070 to afford a 1440p/144hz/gsync monitor. I get right around 100fps in BF1. Less taxing games run near the refresh rate. Gsync keeps it all smooth regardless. And, the monitor will last you all the way thru your next GPU upgrade.
