Best chromebook under £250?

Main uses will be for uni work, so internet browsing and note taking, do any of these come with office and is it possible to get, or just google docs?

I believe you can get openoffice from the chrome webstore
asus c300 is a good choice

Any other reccomendations? I found that one online for the same £229 which seems like a decent price. Are there any in the same price range that have 4gb of ram. would 2gb be too low?

2gb would be fine but if you open a lot of tabs while browsing it tends to be laggy.

I personally wouldn't trust used electronics on eBay as it could be pretty sketchy.

Well, the HP 14 would not be a bad laptop at all. If you feel that it is better for multitasking go ahead although internet browsing and notetaking does not take much.
