Solution richiestang_78 Mar 27, 2020 The only "performance" metric for motherboards would be overclock potential. With a 2700X you can basically get an B450 motherboard and be fine. Here's a decent mobo which will be fine for stock and all but heavy overclocks https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hpRzK8/gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-ds3h Of course you can spend more if a mobo has a feature you want or you need more PCIe slots which you will need to get a full size ATX mobo. In that case MSI Thomahawk or Gaming are good. AsRock Pro4 is also a decent option. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hpRzK8/gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-ds3h
