Best compatible windows OS version

Hello Team,
bellow is my PC configuration--
motherboard - gigabyte 945
Processor- intel core 2 duo
RAM- 4gb (2+2) DDR2
hdd- 250 gb (SATA)
os- windows7 32 bit
Graphics Card :-"ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card"

Can you suggest me best compatible windows OS version so that I can use this for best gaming performance.
I can see only 3.25gb ram is available to use.. Can I install 64-bit os to utilize full ram?

Probably windows 7 and yes you need 64bit to use the 4gb.

That is the normal amount of ram available with a 32-bit OS. You have the full 4 gb of ram in use already, a 64-bit OS won't give you any more unless you increase the amount of ram.

the other .75 gig is utilized by the system tp provide addressability to other devices with memory, like the 2 gb of ram on your video card.
