Hey there, I have a thermaltake versa j24 RGB.

It has three front 120mm intake fans
One rear 120mm exhaust.

I bought 2 more corsair SP 120mm fans that I have currently configured at the top as intake fans. The reason I did this is my vega 56 churns the air very hard, so I
wanted to maintain positive air pressure.

Would I be better off mounting the two Corsair fans as top exhaust instead? Maybe just set all the exhausts lower to maintain mostly positive air pressure?

Thanks for reading.

I would have top fans as exhaust.

Thanks for replying,

Yeh, I thought that when I first set up my system but opted for intakes due to the massive exhaust from the vega.
I know that top exhaust is usually best due to supplemental convection.

In saying that, 95% of the time my card isn't ramped up very high. So I will do a series of benchmarks before and after tomorrow and test it out.
Although top exhausts sound like the most logical situation for the extra 2 fans. It will still be interesting to monitor thermals under idle and load with both configurations.
