Best cooling method?

i want to cool my machine better. should i get new fans or go water cooled.
these are my specs...

GPU: GeForce GTX 780
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-core Processor
Memory: 16gb of ram (16 usable)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Motherboard: Not sure witch but I know its like Gigabyte Ultra Durable or something.

my 780 tends to overheat and alot of heat comes out of the case. its an old gigabyte case that i cant find anywhere. the GPU is an evga geforce gtx 780. i might need a new fan on the card itself. what do u think.

fan speed is around 80% all the time in msi afterburner and it stays around 33 degrees celsius but goes up to like 45 when i try
to play games. and most of the time when im in an intense battle or something the whole pc freezes.

I would grab a better ventilated case and a CPU upgrade to enable the card to it's potential.
