Best CPU 2011 Sockt Asus rampage iv black Edition

I have Asus rampage iv black Edition and i want too know witch CPU 2011 Sockt should i get for this Moherboard. ?

It all depends on what you intend to be doing. For gaming, you don't need anything extreme so I would recommend something like the Intel Xeon E5-1620 V3

however, if you plan on using your pc as a workstation you will want a higher end cpu. I do intensive VFX editing and personally I am looking into getting the Core i7-5820K due to the fact it has 6 cores over the traditional 4, and it has a much larger L3 cache than its competitors in that price rage. However, if you have a bit more to spend and want a more "professional" rig I recommend a higher end cpu such as the Intel Xeon E5-2630 V3 or the Intel Core i7-5960X due to its 8 cores.

Uh no dude! First off you dont really know what your talking about!!!
I'll give u benefit of doubt that you missread!
He has a Rampage IV Black Edition! With LGA-2011 socket! The i7-5xxx series CPU are LGA-2011v3 for the new X99 chipset MoBo's! They are NOT compatible with 2011!
And your backwards! For extreme gaming you wanna go with i7 series 4930k or the 4960x both are 6-core 12threads but the 4960x has a higher base clock and 15MB of cache memory vs 12MB. Price difference is 4930k at roughly $450-$575, where 4960x is about $900-$1,025!
The Xeon chips are what u want for a workstation editing videos, photoshop, running multiple systems like a server computer! The best bang for your buck is the Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2, but the bang is on the wallet at roughly $2,690! Xeon chips cost a lot more! But we're talking 12 cores! (2 logical cores per physical core) There are slightly smaller Xeon chips coming in around $1,200-$1,750 range! I personally have the 49360x but also had the 4930k, for great gaming the 4930k is then efficient and can handle 3-way SLI just fine!!!

Xeon E5-4657L V2 - 2011 socket and 12 core CPU. 2.4GHz stock and 2.9GHz Turbo. Then Overclock it to 4-4.5GHz. Just bought it from ebay at 150 GBP. 😀
