Hey guys, thanks for reading this thread. I was just looking for a new CPU cooler (i have a sucky h60 right now, I'm going to use it on my GPU). I was just wondering what your opinions are on what i should get for a CPU cooler. I'm open to liquid cooling and air cooling. I have an FX 8320 overclocked to 4.4 GHz, and would sacrifice my overclock for near silence and or better cooling. I'm looking in the 40-70 dollar range. I was looking at the NZXT Havik 140 but I cant find it anywhere, and the Noctua NH-D14. any help would be greatly appreciated. Just looking for opinions.

Thanks again, Alex

so do you know of any other coolers of that work in the same performance level for less? Also do you think I will have any motherboard problems considering its heavy height?

what about this one? according to linustechtips, this one kicks ass and is better than the noctua i was looking at. opinion?

Agreed, if it fits your case it's a good cooler. Looks to have a decent mir right now which drops it to $60 on newegg. With just slightly less cooling, cheaper price and smaller size the phanteks tc12dx does well also. One uses 140mm fans, the other uses 120mm fans.
