Best CPU for a 1070

I got an EVGA 1070 8gb for christmas, an have been saving up for one. So now I have some spare cash and would like to upgrade my CPU from my current AMD Athlon 5350.

What is the CPU for €150 to €200?

In my honest opinion, anything quad core onwards would do fine. i5, i7, Ryzen. The new Hyperthreaded i5's are a sweet treat.

Reasonable: i5 4590+, Ryzen 5+
Plenty of room: i5-8400+, i5,7400+, Ryzen 7+
OP: i7 and the extreme editions/Threadripper.
