best cpu for ati 7750?

i have decided to upgrade my cpu to a better one for mid-end gaming as my current cpu isnt that good for gaming anymore. i bought a 7750 1gb ddr5 last week and i want to know which amd cpu and which mother board would be best to go with this graphics card ( can i use crossfire with any on board amd cpu).

windows 7 ultimate service pack 1 32-bit

intel core 2 duo @2.60 ghz

4gb ddr2 ram

sapphire radeon hd 7750 1gb ddr5 dx11 graphics card

motherboard - msi boston 7525/775 LGA socket PCI-Ex 2.0
chipset - p35/g33/g31

southbridge - 82801gb

bios version - phoenix tech, 5.08

corsair vs450w psu.

This is under the assumption of course that the OP wants to crossfire stronger cards as stated.

Of course it'd be pointless to use the 990FX chipset to power a fx-4300 + 7750

But say then the OP wants to chuck an FX-8350 in and crossfire 270x's or somethin similar it'd be good.

Nothing wrong with powerful Mobo that you can upgrade on but of course it is out of budget and costly.
 
ok then, if i forget cross fire and buy a better graphics card some time in the future, which mobo should i buy with the fx 6300 within the range of 200-220 dollars (including the cpu that is)?
 
True but bringing the OP out of budget 🙁

In an ideal world the OP would get the FX-6300,Gigabyte board and the Seasonic 500W PSU, it's around 2000rupes over budget though, so not sure if it's a problem.

The Seasonic 500w FX-4300 and Asus are only 300rupees over.
