[SOLVED] Best cpu for gtx 1060 6gb?

Hi. I wanna upgrade my cpu, motherboard, ram. I have old I7-3770 and it runs well. If it will be good few years ahead, I will stay with it. But I wanna cpu for my gtx 1060 6gb to run at full potencial, no bottleneck from cpu, or system side. Also it will be good something for future upgrade path, for stronger gpus, or something. You can recommend me used, or new cpu, systems. Thanks.

look into the i5-11400F or maybe the i5-10600K.
with a nice Z590 motherboard and some >\= 3200MHz DDR4 RAM you would see a big improvement.

Depends on how much you wish to spend and where you live.
This would do good of course for more money you could get more cores or memory.

I'd say an 11400F with a quality B560 board and fast memory is the best option. As to the "future upgrade path", I think 6 cores is still plenty. CPUs don't age as fast as the GPUs so you can still use it for years to come.

You can upgrade, but honestly, the GTX 1060 was a midrange GPU from five years ago. There are other reasons to upgrade, but in all honestly, the 3770 is perfectly capable of using a GTX 1060's potential.

To be honnest, you will see more frames from a gpu upgrade, the 3770 is not a bottleneck at all even with slower ram .

I have a 3770k equivalent xeon. it barely holds back a 1070ti when I tested. Depending on the game of course.
