Best CPU I can put in my old MOBO!

Please help looking for best cpu to fit in my old computer along with should I upgrade my current power supply also it’s just a original one as well.

Current MOBO: AMD Phenom x4 9750 (96w)
Socket: AM2+ (940)

Gtx9650 GPU

I will be building a new setup when I have the money buts it’s not a option right now most older processors I can get for around 20-40 bucks!
