Hi,
I can’t figure out what would be the best CPU that’s compatible with my motherboard msi (b250m bazooka plus) I have gtx 1660SUPER gpu and i5 7500 CPU. I want to upgrade the cpu that would work the best with my gpu. But I have limited option (I think) because my motherboard, so what would be the best processors upgrade in my case?

Solution
Here is a link to possible cpu upgrades.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B250M-BAZOOKA-PLUS/support#cpu
I would imagine that a I7-7700K is on the list.
One would cost perhaps $130 on ebay.
But, considering that you can buy a new I3-12100F that is considerably stronger for half the price, I would consider upgrading the motherboard and cpu instead.
A motherboard may be as little as $100.
You can reuse your DDR4 ram.

I might add that chieftec is not a highly regarded psu.
If you ever want a graphics upgrade, I would replace it asap.

You should be good as it stands.

You can drop in any 6th/7th Generation Intel processor onto the socket for the motherboard. What sort of an upgrade are you looking to perform?

On second thoughts, please pass on the specs to your current build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

I’m looking for cpu upgrade because I think it’s kinda bottleneck for my gpu.

cpu - Intel i5 7500
CPU cooler- basic 12v Intel cooler
Motherboard- b250m bazooka plus
Ram -16gb 4ddr
Ssd/hdd - 232gb 2tb hdd
GPU- 1660SUPER
PSU- chieftec ctg550
Case- thermaltake Versa n21
Os- windows 10Enterprise
Monitor- samsung 60hz

Cpu chieftec 550w ctg550c has like 4y of use.

It seems like my motherboard don’t support 8th generation CPUs at all?
so I wouldn’t be able to install windows 11 , is that true?
min this case I should consider upgrading MB?

I dicided to upgrade MB+processor, what should I get any ideas?
My budget goes to 300eur
Im looking for great performance boost in games and with a thought to be able to upgrade in future.

On the AMD side, a Ryzen 5600 CPU with a B550 motherboard would be a good upgrade for under 300€.
I personally like the MSI Pro B550M-VC WiFi board. But there are plenty of other options for a similar price.
The socket (AM4) is end-of-life, but there are still a couple of CPUs that you could upgrade to: for gaming, the 5800X3D would give a speed boost, but it wouldn't be as huge of a difference as upgrading from Intel 7500 to Ryzen 5600. For "productivity" stuff that makes use of extra cores, you can upgrade to a 16-core 5950X.

On the Intel side... a 12400F CPU, and probably a B660 motherboard.
I'm not as familiar with Intel boards, but there are a few decent looking B660 boards in the 100-150€ range. MSI Pro, MSI MAG Mortar, ASRock Pro RS, Asus Prime... be sure to look for the DDR4 versions - sometimes with "D4" at the end of their name.
Future upgrades would be anything from the 12000-series Alder Lake and 13000-series Raptor Lake families. All the way up to 13900K, which has 8 "performance" cores plus 16 "efficiency" cores.
