Best CPU upgrade for Dell Optiplex 360 low profile

Hi, I am looking to upgrade my current CPU from a Core 2 Duo E7500 to whatever the best available CPU is for LGA 775. I can try to provide whatever information is needed about the mobo, you will just have to tell me how. Thanks!

I'm afraid you're stuck with a dual core for that machine. The best you can do is one of these.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 Processor (3.33GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Processor (3.16GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Processor (3.00GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 Processor (3.06GHz, 3MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB)

You may need a BIOS update if the FSB runs at only 1066mhz.
