G.Skill Ripjaws Z 11-13-13-31 $135
G.Skill Ares 11-13-13-31 $140
G.Skill Ripjaws X 11-13-13-31 $140
G.Skill Sniper 11-13-13-31 $135
G.Skill Trident X 10-12-12-31 $190

Which of these which would perform the best for a LGA 1150 motherboard. Would there be any performance differences between all these? Also if i got one of the cheaper kits of far down can the timings be brought for 2400MHZ

Given the same mhz, the CL 10 memory (the Trident X) is the fastest, however you need to make sure your board supports that memory, it may not. Cheaper kits don't respond too well to timing changes, overclocking etc, so don't buy them expecting them to be able to do that.

To be honest the speed differences between those kits will be negligible and only show up minorly in benchmarks. As an aside other than major video editing and 3d modeling, what do you need 32gb for, its a waste otherwise.

But is it worth $50 over the others? And running out while running a Minecraft server with 100+ mods and running a x512 texture pack (Normal minecraft runs 16x16). Also max it out when i compress AVI video to youtube format.

$50? Not a chance. You would never notice the difference in speed.

Of the ones you have the Trident X is best as mentioned, next would be the Ripjaws Z.

If you're upgrading your board and CPU soon get a Skylake board and DDR4, building a system with DDR3 and previous gen intel is a waste at this point. You can get newer faster technology for the same price.

Disk cache size = standby + modified

When you look at physical memory in use and try to figure out whether you need to upgrade, you shouldn't count that because it's just Windows using your unused RAM as a humongous cache. In that sense, you really have almost 11GB free because windows can ditch the disk cache any time it needs too in order to make room to run programs.
