Best DDR3 Ram Sub-$500?

As the title suggests, What is the best ram? Preferably sub-$300, but it can be brought up to sub-$500. Either 16 or 32GB, Going to be using Asus Rampage IV Extreme with Ivy Bridge-E. If its black, great, otherwise it doesn't matter.

Ive ran 5 asus board over the last 3 years and have used mushkin ram on all of them with no problems
