After overclocking my gtx 670 to squeeze out 5 - 10 % more performance I've noticed how my usual 70C Load temp when playing games bumps up to 75 with fan speed hovering around 55%, first off what I did was this
since I was getting driver crashes I decided that the most optimal overclock would be a +50 on the core clock and a +300 on the memory clock resulting in the following changes
CORE CLOCK 980mhz stock => 1030mhz oc
MEMORY CLOCK 1502mhz stock => 1652mhz oc
so since msi afterburner has a custom fan tab where you can adjust fan settings my question here is what would be the most optimal sliders if I should even use a defined profile, or should I stick to auto settings?
my auto settings result in 70 - 75C load with OC
and my custom setting result in 60 - 68C load and here are the settings I've made for my user defined fan control http://i.imgur.com/a47ZYuh.png
so are my user defined settings set in msi afterburner alright or should I stick with the gpu's auto settings for fan control/speed?
