How's that?

Well the best case ever is the case you modifie yourself. With doing a little homework on case mods and help from here you can build one that will keep up with the best. For less than a fancy one.I use a full tower for the simple reason you have plenty of room to work with. The sky is the limit..Some people go for the easy way out..Do your own....

"Now that is bragging rights"

Hee hee . . .you should use that for your sig. Maybe you could be the next "sig of the month".

Don't get me wrong, I love working on my computer and case, and I think that getting everything to work the way you want, and getting it running smoothly is one of the great joys in life (for us-folk, that is).

The worst thing is the world is to get one of the slimline workstation desktops . . . those should have been banned by now. I know they are useful in places where you are not supposed to be tweaking you system (most workplaces), but for enthusiasts, they are just not an option.

That being said, there is still something to be said for buying a case that is fully loaded. It is like the difference between buying a GMC vs a Cadillac (to use GM's terminology). Sure, they run the same and you could save a ton of money by getting a GMC and modding it yourself. But . . . if you had the money . . . getting the Cadillac would be nice because it is ready to go. (erm . . . I guess I should have said Chevy, 'cuz I just remembered the GMC brand is only on trucks, and Cadillac only has one "truck" . . . . . . Guess I was thinking about the Escalade at the time.)

That is the cool thing about this case: it comes with the extra fans, the fan controls, the temp readout, the window in the side . . . all stuff that can be done afterward with any other case. But it would still be sweet to pull something out of the box and have it ready for use.

All said and done, I will more than likely get a case like the one AndrewT and I found. Economical . . . tons of head room . . . and really cool slide out hidden 3.5" bays. 😎

What would be even sweeter would be having less work to do and more time to buy the stuff I need to get my computer back up and running. Yeah . . . that would be really sweet.

So, back to work I go.

I was just trying to be clever. (Not very good at it).

You are the second person who suggested I use my own words as my sig.

The other time is a very funny story. I was helping a housewife who did something to the family computer and managed mess up the video. Her description was to the effect, "It kind of looks like scrambled porn". Well, I gave my suggestions for fixing the problem and as a joke added, "scramble your own porn". Someone thought that was my sig.

Now, the burning question is . . .

How would she know?

Sounds like someone's been surfin' through the red channels.

Oh God I wouldn't own that thing if it if it was free. It's an eyesore...and look at the pricetag? Lemme see, I do have TWO kidneys after all...
I'll take the Koolance...better price and it's a water cooler. :)

Gee . . . and I thought my thread was dead . . .

So, Flamy, you don't like silver or black cases? You prefer the old grey of days gone by? And, BTW, the wheels are add-ons . . . they don't come installed, and you don't have to put them on. The slant, like I mentioned, is very functional . . . you can see your drives and temp display while the case is on the floor.

So, if you guys think this case is so ugly, show me what you think looks cool. I am sick and tired of all of the same ol' same ol' when is comes to cases. I admit, I don't have the money to buy this one, buy if I did, I would.

Now, I do like the case that AndrewT bought, but it doesn't quite have the same awe-inspiring power that this one does. (Sorry, Andy . . . it is a cool case, but not for me.)

Like I said before . . . to each his own.

And this is my own.
