Best flash drive to get?

I am in need for a flash drive of 4GB or bigger. I need recommendations of manufacturers, series, price, and site to buy it from.

I prefer it to be under $10. I want one to run Linux on it. Another one for general use such as portable apps and files. I would prefer it to be high performance and secure/encryption. It would be nice if it was 3.0, but of course it is not required.

Seriously tho, NewEgg is a damn fine retailer, no worries about purchasing fake capacity flash products at all. Personally I would go with USB3.0 for the speeds and long term use.
