Hey guys so I just finished my first build ever, and want to set up at least some anti-virus software, I have windows 10 which should have windows defender correct? Is this enough protection and if not are there any good free anti-virus programs you would suggest to me, I'm planning on gaming so preferably something that won't compromise my gaming experience! Thanks!

Windows 10 has a pretty good defence built it. You can try Malwarebytes for additional protection but beware as it pings you to upgrade to premium quite often.

I personally bought McAfee for 6 computers, as I cannot be there all the time to help my parents, and its done quite a good job so far. Perhaps, if you do not mind paying, you can try that.

Otherwise, common sense and the Windows Defenders are a good combo, or you can take Malwarebytes as well.

Windows defender is good enough.

Then once in a while I use malwarebytes anti malware to scan my system + superantispyware.
