What is the best free antivirus software i can install on my computer or what is the most trusted free antivirus software to install?

i always use malwarebytes they always do a dam good job.

there all loads of free anti-virus software really its down to personal preference

Malwarebytes is also a good suggestion, but it isn't the same as Anti-virus. You'll want a good antivirus (like Avira) as well as a good anti-malware (like Malwarebytes).

*Note, the free version of Malwarebytes doesn't run activley in the background, you'll need to manually scan your PC every once and awhile.

Ok so does Avira has both antivirus and anti-malware functionalities?

No, Avira is just anti-virus on the free version. I recommend getting Avira for your anti-virus and Malwarebytes for your anti-malware as KieranPCGamer suggested. Both are free and very good programs:
