Nope never in the arcade although it was released for just about every
other platform. I used to play it on the Megadrive. Theres a pretty good
version for the SNES too. Terrific game and theres this vertical level
about halfway through with music thats like a twisted version of an Irish
folk tune - awesome stuff. In retrospect it might just be the best game I
ever played on the Megadrive/Genesis although I used to play a lot of Road
Rash too.

I know! Exactly what I was thinking...

Now let's not bother everyone here with this.

Awesome game. Never played it as a youngster and found it a few years ago.
Love playing it. Very unique and the soundtrack just rocks.

OMF (Ok, ok. I know, but it /should/ have been.) (I can post the MP3's
in abm, if someone wants them.)

I don't have access to the group. Any chance you could send it me somehow
(FTP, mail...)?

F'up poster.

I can e-mail the raw WAVE files to anybody so you can go to whatever format
you want. I know I like Ogg/Vorbis over MP3.

Another older game that had great music IMO was Frogger.

I'd have to say my all-time favorite music is from Mappy. It was the
*reason* I played the game so much, although it is definitely one of
my favorite games as well. The Bonus Round music had my toe tapping for
hours.

I always liked the music from the original Sonic the Hedgehog - especially
in the bonus rooms.

I know I'm way late, but Double Dragon and Pac Land are two of my
favourites. I even programmed them as ring tones on my first cell
phone =) Tetris, Bubble Bobble and Wonderboy in Monsterland are also
fondly remembered.
