he means the year 2011

Oh, I thought he meant he had 2,011 2700K processor chips! 😉

"We can't wait to show you what we've done with this one in an upcoming comparison of AMD processors. "

now...where is that article about what you've done with the Athlon X4 750K?

Athlon 750K:
"We can't wait to show you what we've done with this one in an upcoming comparison of AMD processors."
Really looking forward to seeing this. Hope it's published soon...

If I had my way you'd be living a constipation-free lifestyle behind bars.

 I feel the same way.Try and ignore these spammers! Not worth you're time.
😉

From what I've read, it's probably not your CPU of choice if you plan to overclock.
It also has a different socket than Ivy Bridge chips so you will need a new mobo to upgrade.
IMHO - If you're buying new, plan not to overclock and can find one at a good price, it might be something to consider.

I'm amused that the 9590 and 9370 are in the hierarchy despite the lack of a review, almost as if somebody knows exact figures or has read another review on them... 😉 the positioning is certainly correct from what I have seen. Very much pointless products.

Can you imagine how badly the 9590 would do on the Performance Per Dollar page if it was included?

"Phenom II X6 1100T BE, 1090T BE
Phenom II X4 Black Edition 980, 975"
The old 45nm processors are still very competitive in terms of gaming...
Jesus AMD, straighten it out.

I'm surprised you guys recommended the 3570k over the 4670k. I understand that the 3570k is cheaper, but it has no upgrade path. We should get at least one more CPU on the z87 socket.

Wow how much does Intel pay for this chart and these benchmarks? there is simply no way any Intel CPU has better value than the 8350. You can talk till ur blue in the face but its just not true. the 8350 is the best bang for the buck out there. No to mention who actually just runs the game? i am running 3 programs at a time with a game thus i need AMD 8000 series

An upgrade path probably isn't needed. The 4670K may be faster at stock, but when both of these CPUs are overclocked, it will run into thermal problems before the i5-3570K does, allowing the IB to catch up; to me that makes them equally future-resistant.

Broadwell is just a shrink of Haswell, and that's all we're going to get for LGA 1150. So the upgrade path is meaningless. That's a natural consequence of Intel swapping sockets every other year.
