Metro last light 40-70 fps at normal @ 1080P
APUs are not for gaming, they are low demand, low cost, and low power systems.. These APUs suck for 2010 games (Civ 5 for example is only 'playable' 30fps at Low, unplayable any higher ). Further you need a GPU added and that right off pushes the cost way up but will hit a limit because the APU isn't up to par for modern gaming even with a GPU .

The cost for laptops is 2x that of a desktop because the heat, form factor, size, and not kill the battery in 15 minutes, so the normal price range is $1200+ for a laptop. A Gamer's Laptop is more $2000 to fit in a gamecard with CPU (normally iCore even a i5) for High level. If you dropped to a i3, your still over $1500.

So your desire for a gamer's laptop for $600 is unrealistic honestly. A desktop for $700 or more for gaming is normal. If your serious about under $600 stick to console.
