Okay, so I was wondering, what would be the best gaming pc build ever?
I’ve come so far:

Processor: Intel Core i9-7980XE

Motherboard: Gigabyte X299 Aorus Gaming 9

Graphics cards: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti x2

Bridge for cards: Nvidia HB SLI Bridge

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 32gb 4133MHz x4

Primary Storage: Samsung 960 Pro 2TB

Mass Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 4TB

Psu: Corsair AX1500i

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

Cpu Cooler: Corsair Hydro H115i

Gear (personal favorites):

Keyboard: Roccat Vulcan 120

Headphones: Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver S

Mouse: Steel Series Rival 700

Microphone: Blue Microphones Yeti

Chair: Secretlab Omega 2018

Monitors: BenQ EX3501R Black x3 (not going for 4k because it requires a lot from the processor)

Did I make any mistakes?? Can it be improved? Maybe one or two extra GPU’s, but I believe not that many games support that.

Let me know what you think.

Typically an i7 will outperform an i9 in gaming because the i7 will reach higher clock speeds and has enough cores/threads.

Instead of a Corsair AiO I'd go for a custom loop if I could; that or a Swiftech, at the very least a Kraken X62.

Why do you think 4K requires a lot from the processor? That's just false, it requires a lot from the GPU and less from the CPU than 1080p.

New next-gen Nvidia GPUs are coming out later this year, they will hopefully be better than the 1080 Ti. Also, Nvidia is supposedly coming out with 4K 120Hz and 144Hz monitors. So I wouldn't expect to build the very best right now, but later this year.

For motherboard I'd go Asus Maximus Hero or ASRock Taichi; that's just my preference right now.
