Best Gaming Wireless Network Adapter

I am looking to get a USB wireless network adapter for my gaming pc. The distance from my router and pc will be in difference of upstairs and downstairs. I have the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Router (R7000). Which wireless adapter will be best so I don't get much lag and good speed.

i don't recommend gaming on wireless, but thats just me. best bet is to run a cable.

We use Linksys WMP600N one one desktop. and Asus N53 on the other desktop.. Both wireless cards work well for gaming. One is PCI and the other is PCIe.

Sorry I wasn't specific I was wondering what USB Wireless Adapter will be best for gaming. Because my desktop doesn't have a wireless card inside.

USB wireless adapters will work for surfing the internet. Does not work very well for gaming. Not recommended.

I don't have much of a choice right now if someone would please recommend me a USB wireless adapter that would be great. That will be good for gaming.

Thanks for the help guys, but I'm going to go with a Wifi Range Extender so then I will be able to increase signal strength of my router for my downstairs devices and move it near my desktop and connect it using a ethernet cable. I'm still deciding which one to get either this one

don't expect a good gaming experience when using USB nic's and range extender's (repeaters) .
