Best Gpu for a 1366x768 resolution

Hey folks
I have something to ask ya'all which is related to my monitor (1366x768)
i was asking if i buy a amd hd 7770 gpu will it be compatible or any other gpu u guys will suggest in the same price btw im using inel core i5 3470 8gb ram motherboard:not sure u can suggest 1 but below $100 and will my i5 overheat easily?

Yes 7770 is currently the best $100 graphics card. Just make sure you have at least 1 6 pin pci express connector

Your cpu should not overheat assuming you have adequate ventilation. If you are worried you can check your temps with software such as speedfan, hw monitor, coretemp etc.

I personally use hw monitor.

i have a gtx 6602gb with i5 2500k
i play games on 1280*1024
when i turn on AA games does lag far cry 3 becomes laggy,crysis3 become laggy
but every thing on ultra with dx11
if i lower AA then i get 60+fps even on crysis 3

For $100, I also agree that you should get the AMD Radeon HD7770. At that resolution you should be able to play many games on high quality and certain games with some settings at medium (i.e. Crysis)

To be honest, I was in your position too. except 1280, 1024 upgrading from a broken 8800.

I chose a 6870 to go with my 6 core amd 4ghz. I'm really glad I didn't the extra bob, cause I can now play pretty much anything, and now no longer ask myself, can I play it?

up to you though. I understand budgets, but the return is really worth it.

Or Z77 Extreme but extreme version is good K Series Intel for OC.

Battlefield 3 maybe but Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3 around 30 fps

I can vouch for the 7770, I have the ghz version and it plays most games at max (shadows down a tick).

Yes, If I lower shadows a bit I can play at 100+ fps @ 720p.

At the moment, I can play on the tick past far at about 80fps steady, anything past that it seems to drop to 40.
