Best GPU for gaming under £160?

My friend wants to buy a new graphics card and his budget is £160 (+-5)
What GPU should he get for maximum fps @1080p

R280x if you can, otherwise the 280. I like AMD cards made by Sapphire and that is what I would recommend.

r9 280x is beyond his budget.

He has a corsair cx series 600watt bronze psu.

CPU is i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz
