Model: LITEON Technology Corp. L300NM-00 (Stock from Dell Inspiron i660-3043BK)

PC Specs:
Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30 GHz
6GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
Intel HD Graphics 2500
300w Stock DELL PSU

Will I be safe just using GTX 1050, because I'm really paranoid that if I just stick my GTX 1050, it'll explode.

(Thanks to @hang-the-9 for telling me the PSU specs, but I'm still very afraid.)

Solution
Not to beat about the bush , its not a great PSU , 216w on the 12v max is low for a 300w unit.

That said , system power draw on a 3220 is sub 80w I under 100% load , add in 75w for the max a bus powered card can use & you're still well under that limit.
Is it an ideal situation ?? No
Will it run it OK?? Yes - bear in mjndbthat dell have sold systems with that PSU with 750ti's pre fitted in the past.
The 750ti uses about the same wattage , stick with a non 6 pin card & you'll be good IMO.

I would argue that is you can only afford one quality component in your system, make it your psu. Lighton psus are built cheap and not meant to last. A quality seasonic or corsair can be had for under 40 USD. Even an EVGA, xfx, thermaltake, and most Roswells, would be way more stable. My thoughts are, Even top tier psus can fail, why risk my system with a cheap on.

Well, I don't have money to spend for a better PSU. And it's a 2013 DELL Inspiron. It was just shipped to me by my grandfather (which is coming here on Dec. 14). I'm going to ask for a 1050. I'm just scared that once I put it in my pc, it would kill my PC and possibly even the GPU, rendering everything useless.

Here's a picture of my PSU, I'll post more if needed. Thanks guys.

Great! I'll still ask my uncle as he has computer knowledge. Other than that, thanks so much for your help. Going to be picking up the 1050 (or 1050ti) hopefully this, or next week.
