Best GPU for my rig for video editing in Adobe Premiere CS4

Hi everyone,

I might need some hand here. I'm using Adobe Premiere CS4 for video editing. My multicam view is basically a still image. It records clicks between the 2 cams, however video is totally still and I'm just guessing based on audio which cam to choose. Audio is working 100% good.
Videos are HD quality in MP4 if that matters. Sequence rendered before multicam view. Without that even the 1 cam preview is lagging...

My rig:
i5 6th generation
16GB 2133Mhz DDR4 Kingston
working on SSD disk Patriot Blaze on Sata 3
PSU: 500W
MoBo: AS Rock
Win 10 64-bit
no GPU, just the integrated one[

I read some forums and for decompressing from codec in realtime a GPU is needed....
When checking task manager, SSD is barely 5%, so was HDD (WD Green 100MB/s). RAM on 30%. However the i5 is on 100%. Same for exporting video - doesn't matter whether whole project is on SSD or HDD, i5 hits 100% and the exporting time SSD = HDD.

Questions:
1. If GPU is needed, what is the best one for my rig for video editing? Money is important, however projects paramount. I know I'll buy one and stick to it for couple of yrs, so...

2. If so, would GeForce 750Ti do the job? It is 'only' 4 levels higher than the integrated one as per the hierarchy on this forum
(http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html?_ga=1.42467493.1062388050.1459617756). I'm planning to buy this one anyway to put to my 2nd PC as the best one I could get for that rig (Core2Quad E6700, 8GB DDR2 800Mhz, PSU:400W) which I already know is the best one I could get as check on this Forum.

I might use this one in my PC and later on put it to old PC (if that solves the issue). I know it's only 4 levels higher, but - what if that would give some relief to processor working already on 100%?

Hard to believe CS4 released in 2008 - times when they only dreamed about i5 processors with integrated graphics - and I have these issues...

Thanks!

When dealing with video the gpu should be the most powerful thing in the rig. You will really see a performance boost based on what you put in here. A 750Ti will improve your lot. A titan or something similar would really speed things up. It's all about diminishing returns. Decide what you're willing to spend and let me know. I can make a suggestion from there.

I don't really have a budget...I won't to have the above working + for future working with more cameras and recordings in full HD also in xavc s codec. So whatever would do here - any GPU I'd use close to its let's say 80% potential. At the same time I don't want to buy something way too professional which I wouldn't use in full and just would be a waste of money...

No matter what you buy you will probably use close to 100% when rendering video. The process will just be faster. When decoding you will use 100% of your processor no matter what you have. A more powerful processor will just complete the task quicker.

I don't mind longer rendering (or exporting) times, what is really a pain is this absolute lag in multicam view...GPU would help in here as well?
I forgot to mention that my project is saved on the same SSD where the OS is...
I might update my Premiere to a newer version in the future. Is there any good GPU in terms of money/performance and my rig wouldn't bottleneck that? Especially for this multicam issue?

Ok, so I got the MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti OC version. Tested via GPU-Z, run some render test, downloaded newest drivers just to be sure its not somehow damaged.
Adobe Premiere CS4 multicam is the same-no improvement, I guess it is due to software limitation of 4GB RAM...In Sony Vegas it is almost perfect without a rendered video. I'll stick with the card and put it to another PC later on...
However this brings another question. I'd be getting an ATI Card. Which one(s) would be the best in terms of no bottleneck of my hardware? My setup:

CPU: i5 6500
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2133Mhz
Mobo: Asrock H170A-X1
PSU: 500W

I'm looking for either a single card and Cross Fire options just in case this option would turn out to be a better/cheaper one. (one PCI is x16 and 2nd one x4). I need something to be able to multicam more than 2 cameras and possibly render faster. Having said that, more video editing stuff rather than gaming.
