Ok, so I am looking to buy one of the Overclocked bundles from Scan.co.uk.. The one that has caught my eye and seems reasonable is the "3XS Z97 OC15 - Intel Core i7 4790K - Overclocked up to 4.6GHz" bundle (standard price £543) which comes with the following spec..

Intel i7 Haswell Refresh quad core, 4ghz, 4.4ghz turbo, 8mb cache (overclocked to 4.6ghz possibly)

Corsair H80 hydro cooler

Asus Maximuus V11 Ranger motherboard

8gb corsair vengeance pro 2133mhz ram

750W corsair RM power supply (extra cost on top of the standard price)

I have a friend getting me a 250gb ssd, a 1tb hdd and a case (in exchange for my current gaming system) but I am now looking to find the best gpu possible for about £200.. I can go slightly higher but with the power supply the standard price jumps to 624 and I am desperately trying to keep the build under or around the £800 mark.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I understand little in the way of 3d marks and the such like and would definitely like the advice of the community as a whole as to some suggestions.. Thanks for your time :)

(The one on the list that can be added to the bundle that is a potential is the 3gb xfx Radeon R9 280X but I am not sure if something better can be purchased for the same or similar price)

Thanks for the replies! First of all my gaming ranges from DayZ to Witcher 2 and just about everything in between.. If it will run DayZ at high frames in top detail then I will be very happy!

Ok I will run through those links there and have a look.. But you guys think that bundle is a pretty good starting point for a gaming pc?

If you are primarily gaming, you might want to consider dropping down to an i5 and putting more towards your gpu. You will see better overall game performance since most games are gpu intensive.
The 280x is a very good gpu, but you could push to an 290.
