Hi, my GPU died a few days ago (RX 480) and i have just received my brand new 5700XT Powercolor and its that thick at the bottom i cant fit it into my PC, can anyone reccomend me the best cards for around £400?

My current setup is

GPU - rx480
Case - NGXT Phantom full ATX
RAM -DR4 G.Skill Trident 16GB
Noctua ND40 Cooler
Asrock z170 Extreme 7+ Mobo
EVGA Supernova 850 Plus Gold

Wouldnt mind sticking with a 5700XT but i have no idea how to tell if one will fit as PCpartpicker found no issues with the current one thats way to big

Thanks

What part of it exactly is too big? Where in the case is it hitting against?

Is it too long to fit with the drive bays? That case shows a GPU clearance of 350mm and PowerColor's 5700 XTs are 230-240mm long.

They both only take up 2 expansion slots, which is pretty standard for most GPU's. Are you mounting it on the highest available 16x PCIe slot (middle of the mobo) or the lowest (bottom slot)?

Hi, I have tried all the slots on the mainboard I cant try and add a photo later on but it fits fine into the PCI slot but the back end of the GPU gets blocked by a metal shield on my mobo. I don't want to try to force it in and break anything
