My motherboard is an old ecs945g-M3, and i want to know the latest card that my mobo can recongnize. I thought at HD 7750 because use less power or nvidia GT 9800 because is old but powerfull. But again i don't know if one of this will work or another one.

best? R9 295X2 for sure, thats 1500$ though. Please list the requirements. What price range? And do you plan to use your current PSU? and what is it? if you dont want to use a PCIE connector, get a 750/750ti, it is the best 75w graphics card

My PSU is a 500 W one, but this isn't the problem. The problem is the mobo is old and i fear a modern card wont work on my old bios. I have a friend which have a mobo newer than mine and didn't supported HD 5670 🙁. I want to spend up to 100$

sorry I was wrong, there IS a compability issue with modern cards (PCIE 3.0 supported natively) running on PCIE 1.0/1.1, so yes, you might need to upgrade your motherboard.... google up 7750 pcie 1.0 of you can something positive
