I have a Gateway desktop / Intel® Core™ i3 3.3GHz Processor / 6GB Memory and i wanted to upgrade from the intel integrated graphics that it came with, however it only has a 300w power supply. I really don't need to play on the highest setting, i just don't want the games i play to lag (FPS). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Im running 7 Home Premium 64 bit
also i looked and it has one available pci slot

Get the GT 440 with 512MB, the extra 512MB on the gt 430 won't be used, in a review i saw that even a HD 5670 the 512MB performed the same as the 1GB VRAM version and that's a much better card.

On low-end cards like any of those, 512GB is sufficient. GDDR5 vs. DDR3 is a bigger deal, with GDDR5 typically showing a 1-tier improvement in performance. Where you may be on the edge of smooth playability, or lowering settings, that one tier can make a visible difference.
While a HD6670 will run on a good 300W PSU, I'm not sure the one Gateway uses would qualify. A HD6570 should be safe, and will be stronger than the other cards you've listed. You may have to give up on GDDR5, but it will still be stronger than a GT430 or GT440. Since you're looking for a card to play games, the GT520 should not be considered, even though it is stronger than any Intel IGP; going from 5FPS to 10FPS doesn't make a game "playable," which is all you'd likely be getting.

Do you just want the 520 and are not interested in the 430 or 440? The 520 is a lower rated card and as for price you can get the 430 for a good price and I would try to go with one of those over the 520. However if the 520 is the card you want then it is your computer and you certianly can go with it since it will work with the 300w psu , you just want to make sure that you will be able to play games with it.

Hello, I'm also looking for a graphics card that works with a 300w power supply. I would like a graphics card that can keep a high frame rate, like 60+ FPS. Graphics aren't important, but I would like to keep the resolution set to my monitors native 1600 x 900. I'll be playing games like Street fighter 4, Star Craft 2, and League of Legends. $100 is my budget.

This is my computer ASUS CM5570-AP002 http://www.asus.com/Desktop/Entertainment/Essentio_CM5570/#specifications

Can you guys help me figure out what is graphics cards are compatible with my computer?

Since you also have a 300w psu then you can look at this thread and see what cards were recomended and choose from them because the situation would be the same a 300w psu.
